Salmon
Salmon can live in salt water or fresh water environments. Out of the many species of Salmon there are only a few that are commonly consumed by humans. However, all species of salmon look and taste similar.
Salmon farms are a popular way to raise salmon. Farms are used to raise salmon for human consumption, and they are one of the largest sources for salmon that is available in most stores.
Fresh salmon can also be found in some stores. Fresh is different than farm raised because it is usually more expensive and it frequently has additional health benefits that are not available in farmed raised fish. Both types of salmon are popular in many countries throughout the world.
